The BetterPhoto Guide to Photographing Children (BetterPhoto Series)

Little Mikey looks like Tom Sawyer in real life…how come those freckles always look so washed-out in pictures? Little Suzie has such soulful eyes…how come they always look so scary in Mom’s photographs? The newest addition to the popular BetterPhoto series shows photographers how to get great shots of children of all ages, under any conditions, with any subject. Learn how to use light, composition, and exposure to improve photographs, how to capture moving targets, and how to develop rapport with even the most recalcitrant child. Providing the tools to capture all those endearing expressions you know and love, The BetterPhoto Guide to Photographing Children is sure to delight parents, grandparents, and aunts and uncles everywhere.

Customer Review: A must read for anyone taking pictures of children
I have 3 boys and also have just started my own business as a portrait photographer. While I did know some of what was in the book I picked up alot of great tips to make my job easier. Now I enjoy photographing my children and clients and also come away with some shots that I would have never thought to get without the ideas in this book. The only reason I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5 was because I would have liked to have seen examples of what not to do. Before and after type of shots. If you take pictures of kids get this book! You won't be sorry! :~)
