4) Precision Design Deluxe 6-Piece Lens & Digital SLR Camera Cleaning Kit
The Tamrac 5273 Expedition 3 Backpack is a compact photo backpack that provides foam-padded protection and quick access to a digital or film SLR camera body with a lens up to 7" attached, 3-4 additional lenses, flash and accessories. The pack is fully padded with thick, closed-cell foam. A cinch strap keeps the camera in place while a large rain flap protects the main compartment zippers. It has a QuickClip tripod attachment system with vinyl reinforced mesh pocket, front accessory pocket. The Expedition 3 has the EasyGrip handle, inner Windowpane-Mesh accessory pockets, and padded backpack harness. The bag can be fully customized using the M.A.S. Modular Accessory System and S.A.S. Strap Accessory System products.
The LensPen is one of the most invaluable accessories a photographer can own. Its unique design makes cleaning your lens fast, simple and effective. On one end, a retractable soft brush sweeps dust and loose particles away from the glass. On the other end, a special dry cleaning compound is used to gently remove fingerprints and spots. The result is a crystal clear lens surface and better pictures in just seconds, a feat that other cleaning items just can't match.
The LensPen DigiKlear LCD Cleaning System has a special triangular tip that gives it the ability to clean the corners of many screens that would otherwise remain covered in dust and grime. The result is a crystal clear screen in just seconds, a feat that other cleaning items just can't match.
This 6-piece cleaning kit contains a Hurricane air blower, lens cleaning tissues, lens cloth, lens cleaning liquid, blower brush and cotton swabs.
Customer Review: Great package but not the bag
First thing's first, it all depends on your needs whether a bag will be good for you and your camera or not. When I got this bag last week, I immediately wrote a 5-star review because I thought I really liked the bag and it will be with me until I outgrow it or have a lot of stuff that will not fit in it. After 2 days, I realized that I hated the bag and this is the 1st time I regretted buying something online. This is why I deleted my 5-star review and replaced it with only 3 stars. If you'll check my reviews, I normally give 5-stars because I really like the item and spent a lot of time researching about it before buying it. Or unless I really don't have any means to see the item's performance (only happened once). This thing got me because I was in a rush to get something to put my camera on and protect it. Initially, I was looking for a back pack type back so I narrowed my choices to Lowepro micro trekker 200 and this one. Went to the nearest Ritz store and compared the 2 bags (without a camera to test, wrong!). Got tamrac expedition 3 because of the following: 1) More padding. Feels more comfortable and I feel my camera would be more protected when inside this bag. 2) Inside the bag, there is a one inch strap that goes around the lens that is attached to the camera body. So there's a strap that stops your camera from being lifted out of place. Lowepro doesn't have this but you can easily buy a velcro strap and put it inside. 3) Zipper seems to be sturdy and there's a flap surrounding it in case it rains. 4) Read reviews that this is best for hikers or campers. So it's basically a weatherproof bag. I'm not much of a 'trekker' but at least this knowledge gives me comfort :). 5) There's a fastener at the top and middle exterior part of the bag for your tripod. This is one of the major reasons why I chose this bag. I wanted a place in the bag where I can put a tripod (vertically not hirzontally) and not feel it is out of place. 6) Anti-static pockets for your memory cards and other stuff. 7) Cost is cheaper. 3 key things that irritated me and made me hate the bag. I only need 3 reasons that defintely outweighed the ones above: 1) The padding for the straps that goes around both shoulders is longer than the back pack itself, around 7-8 inches longer. This is supposed to protect the sides of the body as it is padded but it gets in the way when the bag is rested upward. I honestly didn't notice this when I was checking it at the store. 2) The velcro surrounding the inner compartments. I was afraid that in time, my LCD would be scratched by the velcro (although the soft side of the velcro is used to surround the bag, it's still a little rough and did scratch my skin while moving the compartments around). Yes, the LCD should be strong enough to withstand scratches but I didn't want to be looking for scratches (not on the LCD alone but the body as well) everytime I put my camera in and out of the bag. Not yet though as it is still new =). 3) Accessibility to the camera. There were times that I felt like playing around with the camera on short intervals and I kind of got concerned with the way the camera rubs with the padding whenever I take it in and out of the bag. I had to make room by moving some padding aside to lift/place the camera and then reset the padding back. Quite a pain if it will be done again and again. If you DO decide to get this brand, get this package, it's worth it! (3 stars for the package, would've placed 5 but it will be misleading) The bag only would cost around $55 dollars. However, you will want to get a lenspen some time soon for your lens. Package not only has 1 original lenspen but 2. One for your lens, and the other for the LCD. Finally, you get a lens cleaner set as well. This is defintely a great value because a lenspen would cost you somewhere around $10 while the lens cleaner set under $10. Even with the shipping cost combined, this is still cheaper than buying the stuff separately. What did I replaced this bag with instead? The Lowepro fastpack 200. I'm waiting for it to arrive and will write a review (including what changed my mind, why I chose it and if it will be THE bag for me) as well under the product's page. This bag is currently back in its packaging with all the tags intact. I didn't bother to contact the seller because I might end up spending more with the shipping and stuff. I didn't even had the oppurtunity to actually use the bag (carrying it outside my apartment). I decided to get a new one after 2 days of getting the bag. I'll try to post it somewhere and sell it. I learned my lesson, I'll never buy anything that I haven't tried personally OR haven't seen a video (in youtube) about it to at least see how it performs/looks in the real world.
Customer Review: Tamrac 5273 Expedition 3 Photo Backpack
This is a nice bag for EOS XSi body and 2 lenses plus flash. Zippers can be a little sticky if packed to full of other gear.
